Company History
1982
The Company was founded in 1982 as Waterdene Frozen Foods Limited by the current Directors and commenced trading in April 1983 from rented offices and cold store premises near Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire.
The company quickly established a customer base of general catering establishments mostly pubs, restaurants, schools, hospitals, mobile caterers and fast food outlets.
1985
The Company continued to develop and in 1985 moved into a former Express Dairies depot in Leighton Buzzard. Within a few years the number of employees had grown to about 15 and the transport fleet now included some 7.5 ton refrigerated delivery vehicles namely Bedford TK's.
Here are a few examples of what our product catalogues looked like.

The company moved into a new depot, the building was fitted out to the requirements of the business and now included both cold and chilled stores as well as warehouse space for ambient food and dry goods including disposables as we recognised this was necessary to continue to move the business forward.

In 2003 we changed the company name to Waterdene Foodservice Limited as this now reflected more precisely the nature of our business.
2005
In January 2005 we were delighted to be accepted as a member of the Sterling Supergroup. This gave us the opportunity to increase our product range to include ambient, dry and chilled goods.
